Steak Marinade

Recently, I’ve been really into grilling a butterflied and marinated piece of hanger steak. This is my go to marinade. It’s tried and true. I generally eye ball the ingredients into a gallon sized zip lock and let the steak marinate for a minimum of a few hours - if not a few days.

Ingredients:

~1 1/2 pounds steak (hanger, skirt, flank all work great here)

1/4 cup Worcester sauce

3-4 garlic cloves, minced

1 lemon, juiced

2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar

1/2 cup olive oil

1/3 cup soy sauce

a generous pinch of red pepper flakes

salt and pepper to taste
