Italian Dressing

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil

  • ⅓ cup red wine vinegar (you can use white wine vinegar, if necessary)

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • zest of 1 lemon

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano

  • 2 teaspoons dried basil

  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced

  • salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Pinch of red pepper flakes, for heat (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Place all ingredients in a mason jar and shake until emulsified. Alternatively, combine in a bowl and whisk until incorporated.
