Italian Dressing
Ingredients:
½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
⅓ cup red wine vinegar (you can use white wine vinegar, if necessary)
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
zest of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons honey
2 cloves garlic, pressed or minced
salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Pinch of red pepper flakes, for heat (optional)
Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a mason jar and shake until emulsified. Alternatively, combine in a bowl and whisk until incorporated.
